MY

AND CURRENT MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AFFECTING US AS MEMBERS OF A
COMMUNITY, STATE, AND NATION.
I will

| The Mental Health Association in Tulsa is accustomed to responding to one form
of mental health crises or another on a community-wide basis,
whether it be providing housing for mental health patients unable
to find shelter elsewhere, or building a school-oriented program
to address safety concerns. The events of 9/11 and subsequent
Anthrax cases, however, have given us an unprecedented challenge
to create a broad-based program in response to the anxieties
the nation as a whole is feeling in this time of uncertainty.-
