The Mental Health Association
in Tulsa (The Association) is a local affiliate of the National Mental Health
Association which was founded in
1950, Since 1953, The Assoiation has played a prominent role
in identifying gaps in Tulsa's mental health care system and
has worked tirelessly to provide solutions to the many problems
faced by mentally ill people. We have continually pursued the
eradication of stigma through educational programs that inform
the community about the impact mental illness has on individuals,
families, and communities.The Mental Health Association in
Tulsa is dedicated to promoting mental health, preventing
mental disorders and achieving victory over mental illnesses
through advocacy, education, research, service and housing.
